W3C Validation and SEO

W3C validation and SEO

W3C Validitaion? To validate or not to validate? That is the question.
Friend of mine told me a few weeks ago that one of my web page isn’t W3C compatible so doesn’t validate correctly. I didn’t carry to much because he isn’t SEO expert, he is web programmer, so I think W3C for some reason is very important to him.
This days, this question for me is completely unavoidable: Is W3C validation important? Sure it is. But, is it important for SEO?!

Google pagerank – how much it is important?

Google Pagerank

Google PageRank is a link analysis algorithm used by the Google Internet search engine that assigns a numerical weighting to each element of a hyper linked set of documents, such as the World Wide Web. The main purpose is to measure its relative importance within the set.

First on Google

First on Google

Nowadays is common to say or even to hear that you need to be in the first page of Google results if you want to receive clicks. That means to be at the very top 10. That’s right, but to get even more visitors you need to be first. Why?
Because, if your site is on searched keyword on 9. or even 10. position you could end up with getting only 1% of all overall clicks. How to grab 99%? That’s impossible, but you can get more than 50% if you’re first on Google. Continue reading ‘First on Google’ »
